Position Summary

The Manager, Product Planning and Rollout – Invoice Financing leads the end-to-end design, commercialization, and performance management of Kifiya’s invoice financing vertical.

This role owns the full lifecycle of invoice financing solutions—from supplier and buyer segmentation, receivables financing structuring, and partner onboarding to rollout execution, portfolio monitoring, and optimization. It ensures invoice financing solutions are capital-efficient, risk-aligned, AI-enabled, and scalable across multiple partner banks and ecosystems.

The role transforms Kifiya’s data-driven credit intelligence and transaction-level insights into high-performing receivables financing portfolios, unlocking working capital for MSMEs and enterprises while ensuring strong repayment reliability and portfolio quality.

Working at the intersection of product, risk, technology, partnerships, and operations, the role builds scalable invoice financing products embedded within supply chains, digital marketplaces, and enterprise ecosystems. It drives growth through strategic partnerships with corporates aggregators, and financial institutions while delivering sustainable, risk-managed revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Financing Product Strategy and Segment Design

• Define target segments including suppliers, distributors, corporates, and anchor buyers.
• Design invoice financing products such as:
o Receivables discounting
o Supplier financing
o Distributor financing
o Anchor-led supply chain finance models
• Identify high-potential ecosystems (FMCG, manufacturing, agriculture, trade networks).
• Develop value propositions tailored to buyer-supplier dynamics.
• Build business cases, pricing models, and scalability frameworks.
• Define customer journeys and digital workflows for invoice submission, validation, and financing.

Capital Deployment and P&L Management

• Own the P&L performance of the invoice financing vertical.
• Align disbursement growth with available liquidity and capital allocation strategy.
• Optimize yield, pricing, and capital turnover cycles.
• Drive high capital velocity through short-tenor, high-frequency transactions.
• Lead revenue forecasting and financial planning for the vertical.

Credit Architecture and Risk Governance

• Design invoice-backed credit structures leveraging transaction data and buyer credibility.
• Translate AI-driven credit scoring into invoice-level underwriting frameworks.
• Define risk segmentation based on:
o Buyer strength
o Invoice aging
o Industry risk
• Monitor portfolio performance including:
o Delinquency (PAR)
o Default rates (NPL)
o Payment cycles
• Collaborate with Risk and Analytics teams to refine models and mitigate fraud and duplication risks.

Rollout and Cross-Functional Coordination

• Lead phased rollout of invoice financing products across:
o Partner banks
o Anchor corporates
o Digital platforms
• Coordinate with Growth & Partnerships teams for onboarding institutional partners.
• Work with Technology teams to ensure seamless platform integration.
• Establish SOPs for invoice validation, disbursement, and collections.
• Ensure operational readiness across field and partner channels.

Portfolio Performance and Optimization

• Track key metrics such as:
o Invoice turnover rate
o Average tenor
o Repayment cycles
o Utilization rates
• Identify inefficiencies in disbursement and collections processes.
• Optimize pricing, discount rates, and partner/channel performance.
• Continuously improve customer experience and processing turnaround times.

Ecosystem Integration and Embedded Invoice Finance

• Embed invoice financing within:
o Supply chain platforms
o ERP systems
o Marketplaces and trade ecosystems
• Build anchor-led financing programs with large corporates.
• Develop scalable distribution models leveraging digital and institutional ecosystems.
• Strengthen partnerships to improve origination quality and repayment discipline.

Growth, Partnerships, and Market Expansion

• Identify and onboard anchor corporates and ecosystem players.
• Build and manage relationships with partner banks and financial institutions.
• Expand into new sectors and geographies with strong invoice financing potential.
• Drive customer acquisition through ecosystem-led channels.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

• Monitor regulatory and market developments in receivables financing.
• Innovate new invoice financing structures and use cases.
• Improve fraud detection, invoice validation, and automation capabilities.
• Ensure compliance, competitiveness, and technological advancement of solutions.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in invoice financing, supply chain finance, MSME lending, banking, or fintech
• Proven experience managing P&L and financial products
• Strong exposure to trade finance, receivables financing, or working capital solutions
• Experience working with multi-bank or ecosystem-driven financing models preferred
