Job Description

Department: Director, Commerce

Reports to: Commercial Head

Supervises: Regional Distributors

Distributor Manager is responsible to manage officially assigned distributors/agents of the company by setting standards that will help them to be professional and successful in the day to day activities of the business. The incumbent is also responsible to propose and implement corrective action measures working closely with the Field Sales Team whenever there are deviations from best practices.

Responsibilities
  1. Manages the agent starting from concept of understanding their merit and demerit of current organizational structure and
  2. Conducts periodic assessment/evaluation of agents based on the outlined
  3. Carry out regular evaluation of agents based on their monthly sales performance against the target sales volume set by the
  4. Reports the findings to the management and agents with recommendation and reasonable time frame to alleviate the observed
  5. Handles detail executions of the recruitment, selection and contract termination of distributor agents based on the procedure in
  6. Ensures that all the necessary weekly and monthly reports are delivered to the concerned department/staff by the
  7. Ensures that all contractual agreements to undertake sales & marketing activities are free from conflict of
  8. Acts as a focal point of all distributor requests in regards to business relationship with the company
  9. Also follow-up and ensure the resolution of all agent outstanding responsibilities and payments to the company
  10. Performs other similar tasks as assigned by the immediate
Education

Academic requirement: 

  • MA/MSC/BA/BSC in Marketing
  • Management/
  • Sales Management or related fields of study
Experience

Work experience: 6/8yrs of experience in sales management in Beverage
