Union of Ethiopian Women and Children Associations (UEWCA) is non-governmental, non-political and non-partisan consortium of 80 Women, Girls and Children focused on Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) that are engaged on the empowerment and gender equality in all regional states and city administrations of Ethiopia. UEWCA was established in 2010 as a platform to voice the voice of its members and beneficiaries as well as to capacitate and coordinate the efforts of its member CSOs and Stakeholders towards seeing well-dignified, empowered, healthy, vibrant and visionary women, girls and children in Ethiopia.

01. Woreda-Level Officer (Site Coordination Officer)

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
The Woreda-Level Officer will provide overall coordination, supervision, and operational oversight of multi-sectoral project activities, including Protection, WASH, ES/NFI, CCCM, and MPC. The officer will coordinate with woreda authorities, site committees, community leaders, and partners; supervise field staff; monitor progress against targets; ensure donor and UEWCA compliance; facilitate community engagement and accountability mechanisms; and ensure gender, protection, and disability inclusion are mainstreamed across activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s/BA Degree in Gender studies , Development Studies, Humanitarian Affairs, or related field with a minimum of 5 years for MA or 7 years for BA in humanitarian or emergency response programs

02. Shelter Management Officer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
The Shelter Management Officer will lead shelter assessments, minor repairs, rehabilitation activities, and safe shelter allocation in coordination with site committees and local authorities. The role includes identification and referral of vulnerable households, ensuring shelter safety and dignity, supporting community-based shelter management, and mainstreaming protection, gender, and inclusion considerations in all shelter interventions.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
OR - Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience in shelter, ES/NFI, or emergency response programming

03. Counsellor (MHPSS / Protection Counsellor)

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
The Counsellor will provide individual and group psychosocial support services to conflict-affected IDPs, including women, girls, children, older persons, and persons with disabilities. Responsibilities include MHPSS service provision, support to protection and GBV case management, referrals to relevant services, community engagement, and ensuring survivor-centred, confidential, and ethical service delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or related field with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
OR - Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience in psychosocial support or protection programming

04. Field Level Cashier

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
The Field Level Cashier will manage all site-level cash and petty cash operations, including processing payments, maintaining financial records, preparing vouchers, handling advances, and ensuring compliance with UEWCA financial policies and CBPF/OCHA requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years for BA and 4 years for diploma relevant experience in cashiering or field-level finance
