YMCA Ethiopia was established in 1951 with the vision of empowering young people for the renaissance of Africa. It is affiliated with the World Alliance of YMCAs and the African Alliance of YMCAs, and it shares the founding principle of “Body – Mind – Spirit,” which is symbolized by the time-honored triangle that denotes a holistic youth development approach.
