Ethio Wetlands and Natural Resources Association (EWNRA) is a non-political, non-religious, and non-profit Ethiopian Civil Society Organization committed to the sustainable management of wetlands and natural resources while improving the livelihoods of local communities.
With financial support from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) through the Development Fund of Norway, EWNRA is implementing the project “Improving Rights, Sustainable Livelihoods, and Forest Management in Southwestern Ethiopia” in the Gambela, Oromia, and Southwest Ethiopia Regional States.
To support the successful implementation of the project, EWNRA invites qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals to apply for the following positions.
Number of Positions: Two (2) One for Gambela woreda, Agnuwa Zone, Gambela Regional State and one for Gesha Woreda , Keffa Zone, Southwest Ethiopia Peoples’ Regional State
Duty Station: Gambela and Gesha Woreda
Employment Type: Full-time
Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract with the possibility of extension for up to four additional years, subject to satisfactory performance and project funding.
Salary: As per EWNRA’s salary scale.

Under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, the PFM and Livelihood Facilitator will provide technical and operational support for the implementation of Participatory Forest Management (PFM) and sustainable livelihood interventions. The position will strengthen community forest management institutions, promote inclusive participation, support forest conservation initiatives, and ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities at the field level.
