The Case Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supervising GBV and protection case management activities at the woreda level, ensuring timely, safe, and quality service delivery to survivors and individuals at risk.
He/She oversees the work of Case Workers to ensure adherence to national and international case management standards, including the National GBV and Child Protection Case Management Framework, GBV Guiding Principles, and ChildFund’s Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.
The Case Manager provides technical oversight, coaching, and mentoring to Case Workers, ensuring that cases are handled in a survivor-centered, confidential, and ethical manner. He/She also ensures strong coordination and collaboration with the Woreda Office of Women, Children, and Social Affairs (WoWCSA), other protection actors, and community-based structures to strengthen the local protection system and referral pathways.
