The Health, Development, and Anti-Malaria Association (HDAMA) is a legally registered Ethiopian Civil Society Organization founded in 1998(1990 E.C.). The organization was originally founded to address malaria prevention and control. The organization was originally established to address malaria prevention and control in response to the unprecedented and catastrophic malaria epidemic that affected the country at the time. However, over time, it has broadened its scope to effectively implement integrated programs in public health, livelihood development, humanitarian response, and capacity building in Ethiopia.
The organization is working in line with the Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2019 and is working in close collaboration with government institutions, UN agencies, international NGOs, civil society organizations, and communities. The organization has gained considerable experience in the last two and a half decades in effectively implementing development programs in communities. Job Summary:
The Accountant will support financial operations for Last Mile Delivery services focused on reaching vulnerable and high-risk areas. This role ensures accurate financial tracking, accountability, and compliance while enabling efficient and transparent resource utilization in challenging operating environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for last mile delivery operations, including transportation, logistics, and distribution costs.
- Monitor and track expenditures related to service delivery in remote, underserved, and high-risk locations.
- Prepare timely financial reports, including budget vs. actual analyses, to support decision-making.
- Ensure proper documentation and verification of expenses incurred in difficult-to-access areas.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for delivery programs targeting vulnerable populations.
- Reconcile accounts, including cash, bank, and field advances, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial risks associated with operations in insecure or resource-constrained settings.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to align financial processes with on-the-ground realities.
- Facilitate audits by maintaining organized and transparent financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.
- Perform other Accounting related tasks as needed and as requested

We are looking for an experienced and motivated HR and Performance Management Manager to join our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the HR and Performance Management department.
- Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Perform as liaison for overall admin related duties
- Responsible for the administer logistics processes
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Provide support in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate training and development programs for staff.
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality.

Qualifications and Work Experience
- B.A/BSc: Minimum of 12 years of experience in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields or MA/MBA
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields preferably in an NGO sector.
- Applicants who have served as Team Leaders or Directors in human Resource Management, or in closely related fields, will be given strong preference.
