01. Senior Associate-Learning and Development

About the Role

We are seeking a capable and proactive Senior Associate – Learning & Development to join our People & Culture team.

The role will support the development and implementation of learning and development initiatives that strengthen employee capabilities, professional growth, leadership development, and knowledge sharing across the firm.

The successful candidate will work closely with People & Culture, Partners, Directors, Managers, and Service Line leaders to identify learning needs, coordinate development programs, support professional certifications and career development, and provide meaningful L&D data and insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of the annual Learning & Development plan and training calendar.
Conduct and coordinate Training Needs Assessments in collaboration with managers and service-line leaders.
Coordinate internal and external training programs, including scheduling, logistics, communication, and documentation.
Support technical, professional, leadership, and management development initiatives.
Coordinate professional certification, continuing professional development, and career development programs.
Support employees and managers with Individual Development Plans and other development opportunities.
Coordinate mentoring, coaching, knowledge-sharing, and peer-learning initiatives.
Evaluate training effectiveness and gather feedback to improve learning programs.
Maintain accurate employee training, certification, and development records.
Maintain L&D dashboards, reports, and analytics for management.
Support the identification and management of external training providers.
Monitor training budgets, costs, and related documentation.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
Provide guidance to employees on available learning and development opportunities.
Support other People & Culture and organizational development initiatives as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
4–6 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Training, Human Resources, Talent Development, or a related area.
Experience coordinating learning and development programs in a consulting, professional services, audit, advisory, or other knowledge-intensive organization is an advantage.
Experience with training needs assessment, employee development, training evaluation, and L&D reporting.
Professional certification in HR, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or a related discipline is an advantage.

02. Head of People & Culture

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of People & Culture to lead our People & Culture function and support the continued growth and development of our consulting firm.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to Partners, management, and service-line leaders, providing strategic and practical leadership across talent, workforce planning, performance, employee experience, organizational culture, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the firm’s annual People & Culture strategy and plan.
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and people-related business decisions.
Lead recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives.
Develop and strengthen performance management, career development, succession planning, and talent management processes.
Lead learning, professional development, coaching, and leadership development initiatives.
Oversee employee relations, engagement, wellbeing, and employee experience.
Support compensation, benefits, rewards, and recognition programs.
Ensure effective HR operations, policies, systems, documentation, and HR reporting.
Monitor key HR metrics including headcount, turnover, recruitment, performance, engagement, and workforce capacity.
Ensure compliance with applicable Ethiopian labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Strengthen organizational culture, values, collaboration, professionalism, and employee engagement.
Provide tailored People & Culture support to Partners and service-line leaders.
Lead, coach, and develop the People & Culture team.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources / People & Culture, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior HR leadership role.
Significant progressive HR experience, including experience in a senior HR/People & Culture management role.
Strong experience across HR strategy, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and HR operations.
Experience working with senior leadership and providing strategic HR advice.
Experience in a consulting, professional-services, advisory, or other knowledge-intensive organization is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor and employment requirements.
Experience leading and developing an HR team.
Strong HR analytics, communication, coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment.
