01. Audit Manager
- Location: Addis Ababa | Deadline: March 4, 2026
Job Summary:
To ensure the profitability of the service line by maintaining good relationship with clients and monitoring the quality and timely completion of projects; Manage engagements, oversee and review senior accountants and audit assistants work; ensuring compliance with client and other statutory requirements; appreciating relevant internal and external market factors, and ensuring the effective and timely delivery of engagements.
- Oversee and direct the budgeting, planning, co-ordination and control of engagements in accordance with client and other statutory and business requirements to ensure effective service delivery and maximized recoverability;
- Direct, coach and mentor associates and senior associates to assist them in the effective delivery of engagements and the direction of their subordinates ensuring cost – effective, timely completion and effective service delivery to the required standard on each engagement;
- Coordinate with the lead partner and/or audit director in preparing the audit plan for clients considering the audit risk and in accordance with the task assessment and planning requirements in voyager;
- Prepare time budget for each assignment and getting it approved by the lead partner before commencement of the audit;
- Arrange and plan meeting for discussion with audit team as well as with the client;
- Assign responsibilities to each member of the audit team;
- Follow up the progress of the audit regularly and ensure the audit is progressing as per the time budget and ensure timely completion of the audit;
- Obtain prior approval from the lead partner for any perceived changes in the time budget and bringing to the attention of the lead partner for action to ensure the timely completion of the audit;
- Ensure the deadline for assignments are achievable and communicate and notify to the lead partner about any situations that may lead to failure to meet the deadline;
- Arrange entrance meeting with client to discuss on whether everything is ready to start the audit and provide a general overview on what the audit team needs for the audit;
- Review the audit working paper in order to check whether the audit is performed according to the audit plan;
- Ensure the audit working paper is properly cross referenced and completion of all the necessary forms;
- Ensure all outstanding issues and queries are properly cleared;
- Prepare and conduct the necessary on job training;
- Create worthwhile relationships with clients, business departments and staff, for the sharing of information and identify and progress current and future audit requirements;
- Contribute towards the creation, implementation and delivery of the audit business plan and offer support in relation to issues identified as a result of organizational or client focus change;
- Get involved in wider business development activities and build the brand across the country, i.e., attending conferences and managing proposals;
- Assist the Director and Partners in monitoring the effectiveness of audit services delivered, provide feedback and reflection on the quality of service;
- Guide and support associates;
- Evaluate the performance of associates for engagement and year-end reviews.
Education and Experience Required
- MA/BA in Accounting, Accounting & Finance and related fields
- 8 years’ experience in external audit for MA holders and 10 years’ experience in external audit for BA holders; and at least 3 years’ experience in Senior Auditor and Audit Manager Positions.
Certification or License Required
- ACCA or equivalent

02. People & Culture -Senior Associate III

Job Summary
The job holder is responsible to manage the recruitment, screening, record maintenance and facilitation activities, and provide support for all employees while preparing training and performance plan; maintain all the hard and soft copy documents in a secured manner and deal with any employee requests regarding human resources issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Implementation
- Assist in implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Support the development and execution of HR plans as guided by management.
- Implement HR policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with approved frameworks.
- Ensure HR activities are carried out according to the firm’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and job requirements for all positions.
- Support the execution of personnel management policies and procedures.
2. Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues and escalate complex matters to management.
- Support supervisors in managing employee relations matters.
- Promote a positive and professional work environment.
3. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling.
- Participate in job interviews and provide recommendations to management.
- Facilitate onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
- Prepare employment documentation in coordination with management.
- Review employment contracts for completeness before final approval by management.
4. Performance Management
- Support the implementation of the performance appraisal system.
- Coordinate performance evaluation processes for associates and senior associates.
- Assist supervisors in conducting staff performance evaluations.
- Compile and prepare performance reports for management review.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs in collaboration with supervisors.
- Coordinate and monitor employee training programs.
- Track training effectiveness and maintain training records.
6. HR Systems & Reporting
- Maintain HR databases and employee records.
- Prepare HR reports, analytics, and documentation as required.
- Collect and analyze HR data to support decision-making.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of HR records.
7. Compliance & Administration
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and company regulations.
- Monitor compliance requirements and report potential risks to management.
- Follow up on HR-related administrative tasks and documentation.
- Support audits and internal reviews related to HR functions.
8. General Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to staff within the scope of authority.
- Support managers in developing team capabilities.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the HR Manager or Advisory Partner.
Educational and Experience Required
- BA in Management, Human Resource, Business Management and related filed.
