EthSwitch, established in 2011, is a share company, and the National Switch is Owned by all banks(Private and Public) the National Bank of Ethiopia, MFIs, PIIs and PSOs. It is established mainly to provide simple, affordable, secured, and efficient e-payment infrastructure services to retail payment service providers, and through them, to end users in Ethiopia; by deploying state-of-the-art technology along with highly skilled and motivated professionals. The underling mandate of EthSwitch is contributing to the modernization of the national payments system and enhancement of financial inclusion in the country. Since 2016, it has enabled interoperability of ATMs and POS terminals operated by all banks. Currently, it is also rolling out projects to achieve interoperability of  other digital payment platforms operated by all financial service providers []

01. IT Auditor II

  • Deadline: May 8, 2026   |  Location: Addis Ababa

Job Summary

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Examine internal IT controls and evaluate their design and operational effectiveness.
  • Determine exposure to risk and develop practical remediation strategies.
  • Test and identify Application, network, Security and system vulnerabilities and create effective counteractive strategies.
  • Review, evaluate, and test application controls.
  • Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations for control improvement.
  • Assess compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare Audit Program
  • Prepare audit findings, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Follow up on remediation actions to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

Communicate technical risks and audit findings clearly to relevant stakeholders.

About You
  • BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of studies
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
Required Competencies
  • Knowledge of IT audit principles and internal control assessment
  • Understanding of information security concepts and network/system vulnerabilities
  • Familiarity with application control testing and risk assessment methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Have Positive attitude
  • Hands-on experience with audit tools such as data analysis, vulnerability assessment, and audit management tool

02. Manager, Network Administration Division

  • Deadline: May 6, 2026   |  Location: Addis Ababa

Job Summary

The Network Administration Division Manager is responsible for leading the network administration team, managing and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure, and ensuring the network’s security, reliability, and scalability. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and coordination with other IT teams to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the network administration team, including setting objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and providing training and development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for network administration aligned with company and department responsibility.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for network projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the organization’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless networks.
  • Manage cloud-based network services and ensure seamless integration with on-premises network infrastructure.

About You

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields of studies;
  • 8/6 years of relevant work experience out of which 3 years in senior officer positions.
