EthSwitch, established in 2011, is a share company, and the National Switch is Owned by all banks(Private and Public) the National Bank of Ethiopia, MFIs, PIIs and PSOs. It is established mainly to provide simple, affordable, secured, and efficient e-payment infrastructure services to retail payment service providers, and through them, to end users in Ethiopia; by deploying state-of-the-art technology along with highly skilled and motivated professionals. The underling mandate of EthSwitch is contributing to the modernization of the national payments system and enhancement of financial inclusion in the country. The role involves ensuring that payment applications align with business requirements and systems goals, addressing and resolving system issues. Responsibilities include reviewing and enhancing the effectiveness of existing applications, disseminating best practices, and recommending software products and services. The position requires evaluating new applications and enhancements, collaborating with various stakeholders during testing, and ensuring new software integrations meet functional and compliance standards.
The Senior Analytics Officer is responsible for leading the development and execution of data-driven insights that inform strategic planning and performance monitoring at EthSwitch. This role entails using advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data management techniques to analyze market trends, operational performance, and key business drivers. The Senior Analytics Officer will provide actionable insights that support the company’s long-term strategic goals and operational efficiency, ensuring alignment with EthSwitch’s objectives and growth targets.
The Senior Planning & Performance Management Officer is responsible for supporting the development, execution, and monitoring of strategic and annual plans at EthSwitch. This role plays a key part in tracking performance metrics, ensuring alignment with company goals, preparing periodic reports, and facilitating the continuous improvement of business processes. The officer works closely with department heads to ensure the effective implementation of strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
