Driver – Pharo School Assosa

Pharo Foundation is establishing a new, high-quality school in Assosa and is looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Driver to transport students and staff safely and on time.

📍 Position Details

• Location: Assosa, Ethiopia
• Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students and staff to and from school, field trips, and other school activities
• Ensure the bus is clean, well-maintained, and regularly serviced
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
• Monitor student behavior during transit to ensure safety and discipline
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents immediately to the administration

• Valid Ethiopian Category Public Driver’s License (minimum 3rd grade)
• Minimum of 3 years of safe driving experience, preferably as a school or institutional driver
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and patience
• Ability to communicate clearly in English
• Clean driving record and references required
