Bid Announcement tor the Supply of High Energy Biscuit -(Chewable/Soft Biscuit)

ChildFund is a child-focused international development organization that works throughout Asia, Africa and the Americas to connect children with the people, resources and institutions they need to grow up safe, healthy, educated and skilled wherever they are. ChildFund has been operating in Ethiopia since 1971 and currently supports community-based child development programs in Amhara, Oromia, SNNP regional states, Tigray and Addis Ababa city administration.

ChildFund Ethiopia is currently implementing an Emergency Response Program supporting communities in different regions. The planned intervention involves providing high energy biscuits-wheat based on children in the target communities. To this end, ChildFund Ethiopia would like to invite experienced and qualified potential supplier to supply 1200 carton where 1Carton Contains 150 Pks (4 pcs in 1 Packet, each packet is 100gm) of High Energy Biscuit. The High Energy Biscuit must be suitable for Children up to twelve years of age. Ingredients are wheat flour, Vegetable Shortening, Sugar, Salt, Sodium Bicarbonate, Ammonium Bicarbonate, Sodium Metabisulphite, water and organic preservative. Nutrition Value: Energy –415 kcal, Protein – 9g, Fat – 7g, Carbohydrate – 77 g, Fiber – 1g\ Weight per pack: 100g. Shelf life: 18 months and are also fortified with extra vitamins and minerals. • Potential Suppliers should submit their technical and financial proposals separately including samples of the High Energy Biscuit in person to the office address stated below. The technical proposal must include a company profile with name, address, contact person details, phone, email address, copy of renewed business license and testimonials of experience in supplying High Energy Biscuits preferably for INGOs.
• Closing date: the closing date for the bid is 12 January 2026 at 2:00 PM (8:00 PM local time) in the afternoon.
