Job Description

ChildFund is a child-focused international development organization that works throughout Asia, Africa and the Americas to connect children with the people, resources and institutions they need to grow up safe, healthy, educated and skilled wherever they are. ChildFund has been operating in Ethiopia since 1971 and currently supports community-based child development programs in Amhara, Oromia, SNNP regional states and Addis Ababa city administration.

ChildFund Ethiopia is currently implementing a project dealing with child protection in emergencies supporting communities in Tigray Region. As part of the intervention ChildFund campaigns to distribute dignity kits. To that end, ChildFund Ethiopia is seeking potential, experienced and qualified suppliers for the following lists.

Dignity Kit contains: –

3 pcs of Cotton female underwear medium size
4 pcs of Reusable menstrual sanitary pads
4 pcs of laundry soap 250gm
4 pcs of Lifebuoy Body Soap 70gm
1 solar light – Portable / hand-held solar lamp with built-in handle. With both Charging Options Solar charging (primary) and USB charging (optional)
1 bottle of Hair Oil – 250Ml
1 pc of Sanitary Napkin – Towel or Small Bath Cloth
1 fabric bag with ChildFund Ethiopia and EHF name print on it

Bidders must include Transportation from Addis Ababa to Tigray, Mekelle Town to our office located in Hadinet sub city, Infront of Ethiotelecom North Region near Sheba College on Nilex building first floor.

About You

Potential bidders should submit their technical and financial proposals separately including samples of all items listed in dignity kit package in person to the office address stated below. The technical proposal must include a company profile with name, address, contact person details, phone, email address, copy of renewed business license and testimonials of experience in supplying Dignity Kit preferably to INGOs.
