Procurement Method and Evaluation

Bid Evaluation Methodology:
Technical criteria 90% (out of 100%):
- Technical competence in designing and implementing Social and Behavior Change (SBC) strategies and in-person demand creation activities, specifically within nutrition or health contexts (40%).
- Knowledge of social and behavioral change theories and methodologies relevant to promoting dietary change and increasing the consumption of underutilized vegetables (20%).
- Experience developing engaging training materials and workshop curricula for demand creation, effectively facilitating in-person community engagement activities, and understanding local Ethiopian contexts related to food consumption (20%).
- Communication skills, capacity for independent work (10%)
Financial criteria 10% (out of 100%): Total cost comparison per WorldVeg Procurement Regulations.
Bid Opening Process
- The bid opening will follow a one-step process. All bidding documents must be securely sealed in a single email as required.
- If necessary, bidders may be invited to attend the bid opening at the time, date, and venue specified by WorldVeg.
- Bids must remain valid for ■ 60 days □ 90 days □ 120 days from bid opening date until the evaluation recommendation is approved. If the procurement is not awarded within this period, WorldVeg may request an extension of the validity period.

- Any inquiries regarding this tender should be directed to WorldVeg HQ Procurement Office before 13-May-2025 through protected email: purchasing@worldveg.org.
- All bids must be submitted to WorldVeg HQ Procurement Office at purchasing@worldveg.org in a protected email with the subject line “PR1071484 – A social and behavior change strategy and in-person demand creation activities to promote consumption of underutilized vegetables in Ethiopia” by 4:45 PM Taipei Time on 20-May-2025.
