01. Oil & Gas well production Operator (2 Positions)

Job overview

The Well Production Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining oil and gas wells and associated production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. The role involves fieldwork, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily inspection and maintenance of oil and gas production wells.
  • Responsible for the collection, collation and entry of data from oil and gas production wells
  • Monitor the production status of oil and gas production wells and report according to the actual situation
  • Responsible for the production auxiliary preparation of oil and gas production wells
  • Monitor the status of oil and gas production wells and timely apply for material requirements when appropriate

Education:

  • Petroleum Major that has a basic understanding of petroleum drilling and production
  • Be able to identify basic equipment such as gas production wellheads pressure gauges, flowmeters, etc
  • understanding the most basic properties of crude oil and natural gas such as flammability and explosiveness

Language ability

  • Proficient in English, able to communicate daily work documents and be able to fill daily work reports after training

Computer Knowledge

  • Be able to use common office software (word excel) to complete simple report and form processing
  • Preference is given to those with more than 1 year of work experience in natural gas (oil) production, drilling and well testing or other related petroleum industry experience.
  • Preference is also given to those with an electrical engineering background
  • Be able to adapt to night shift work. This is a veto option

02. Logistics Operations Coordinator

Location: Ogaden Basin     |  Deadline: May 17, 2026

Job overview

The Logistics Operations Coordinator supports daily transportation and logistics activities by coordinating with third-party logistics providers, monitoring transport execution, and ensuring safe and efficient operations. This role also facilitates communication between local and international teams and helps resolve operational issues in real time.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist the logistics transportation scheduling manager in coordinating with third-party logistics companies, and track the execution of transportation plans (dispatch, in transit, arrival, etc.).
  2. Assist in managing the local driver team, organize safety training, and communicate daily HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
  3. Monitor the transportation process and promptly report abnormal situations (delays, vehicle breakdowns, safety incidents, etc.).
  4. Assist in pre-departure inspections (vehicle condition, documentation, PPE, etc.).
  5. Be responsible for communication and coordination between Chinese and foreign parties, providing necessary language support and information transfer.
  6. Collect and report on-site operational issues and assist in improving transportation efficiency.

Qualifications

  1. College diploma or above (major in logistics, transportation, or engineering preferred).
  2. At least 2 years of experience in logistics/transportation/fleet management.
  3. Proficient in Amharic, with basic English communication skills.
  4. Able to adapt to on-site work and a certain level of fieldwork intensity.
  5. Good communication, coordination skills, and strong execution ability.

The Transport & Asset Coordinator is responsible for managing transportation-related assets and inventory, including vehicles, spare parts, and maintenance materials. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, supports maintenance operations, and provides data to improve operational efficiency and asset utilization.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for the inbound, outbound, and inventory management of maintenance consumables and spare parts.
  2. Establish and maintain inventory records to ensure consistency between records and physical stock.
  3. Establish and maintain records for vehicles, tractors, trailers, and LNG tank containers.
  4. Record equipment usage, maintenance, and servicing.
  5. Assist in coordinating with third-party maintenance providers and track maintenance progress.
  6. Organize transportation and maintenance records to provide data support for management.

Qualifications

  1. College diploma or above (major in logistics, warehousing, or mechanical fields preferred).
  2. At least 2 years of experience in warehousing, materials management, or fleet-related roles.
  3. Proficient in Excel or similar tools for data management.
