01. Instrument Operator (2 Positions)

Overview
An Instrument Operator is responsible for the operation, inspection, calibration, and maintenance of field instrumentation and control systems used to monitor and regulate industrial processes. This role ensures that all instruments—such as pressure, flow, level, and temperature sensors—are functioning accurately and reliably to maintain safe and efficient plant operations.
Main Job Description
- Operate, monitor, and perform routine checks on instrumentation equipment used in LNG production and processing.
- Assist in the calibration, testing, and adjustment of various types of field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level, analytical).
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on instrumentation devices in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, control room operators, and maintenance personnel to identify and resolve instrumentation-related issues.
- Record and report instrument readings, anomalies, and operational data accurately.
- Support the commissioning and start-up of instrumentation systems during plant turnarounds or new project phases.
- Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance activities, calibrations, and instrument configurations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, including permit-to-work systems and lock-out/tag-out practices.
- Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety audits.
- Complete temporary tasks assigned by leaders.
Education:
- BSc. Degree in Electrical engineering or related fileds
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles, signal types (analog/digital), and loop systems.
- Proficiency in using calibration and testing tools (e.g., multimeters, pressure calibrators, HART communicators).
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Committed to safety, accuracy, and continuous learning.
- Familiarity with pneumatic, electronic, and smart digital instruments.
- Experience with PLC/DCS systems, control valves, and transmitters preferred.

02. Power Generation Operator (2 Positions)

Job overview
The Power Generation Operator is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of power generation systems supporting LNG production and utility systems. This includes monitoring, operating, and maintaining gas turbines, diesel generators, steam turbines, electrical switchgear, and associated auxiliary systems to ensure continuous and compliant plant operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine plant checks, record operating data (pressures, voltages, temperatures), and report abnormalities.
- Assist in equipment start-up and shutdown processes as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and escalate technical issues to maintenance or supervisory teams.
- Support planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including system isolation and permit-to-work processes.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering or related fields
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in power generation operations, preferably in an LNG, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical generation principles, thermodynamics, and plant operations.
- Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs.
- Knowledge of boiler operation, turbine systems, and electrical safety standards.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor or high-temperature environments.
- Familiarity with DCS (Distributed Control System) or SCADA systems preferred.
