We are looking for a Technical Director (key personnel) to support strategic leadership functions of the HIV/TB director (both technical and operational), to ensure a holistic approach to an integrated and comprehensive HIV/AIDS program in the community setting that will achieve measurable outcomes in the prevention of new HIV infections among at-risk populations. The technical director will be charged with the execution of the strategic leadership, donor engagement relations, and program focus on improved access to HIV preventive and treatment services under a Department of State (DOS) funded program among “at-risk” populations across numerous geographies within Ethiopia, and in alignment with the Federal MoH National Strategy Planning/NSP/ strategy. Specifically, this position will be charged with strengthening the cost-share clinics model, transitioning the clinics towards financial self-sustainability.
The successful applicant, though accountable to the HIV/TB director, will work closely with the Technical and Program teams, as well as MEL teams in execution of the project. S/he will communicate technical strategies to the regional staff and to Local Implementing Partner sub grantees and will manage a team of technical/program experts to ensure quality, timeliness, and efficiency of all products and intervention activities generated under the project.
