Job Description

East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, is pleased to invite passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist which is based in Addis Ababa Plant.

The successful candidate will directly reports to the Country Lead Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding  and is responsible for building a strong talent pipeline by implementing effective sourcing, assessment, and selection strategies that support current and future business needs while enhancing the employer brand.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing

• Implement the Talent Acquisition and Assessment components of the Talent Management processes, to enhance business performance.

• Ensure the smooth sourcing, hiring or deployment process.

• Design and develop innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment / sourcing opportunities to develop high quality active and passive candidate pipelines.

• Effectively builds and engages with talent communities through prescribed social media outlets.

• Partners with tertiary institutions to source graduates and facilitates vacation work opportunities

• Identifies and sources appropriate internal talent for current and future roles within the organisation.

• Ensures that key vacancies are filled within agreed timeframe.

• Drives the right talent mix.

• Supports Third Party sourcing, where appropriate.

Talent Assessments

• Makes use of assessment information to enhance the quality of the selection process.

Talent Acquisition Capability building

• Provides talent acquisition and assessment process coaching to line managers to improve recruitment and assessment capability.

Vendor Management

• Develops, networks and maintains successful relationships with external recruitment agencies.

Data integrity

• Ensures talent acquisition and assessment data integrity for successful functional excellence reviews and reporting requirements.

Employee Value Proposition

• Is able to successfully position the employer value proposition both internally and externally to attract and retain the right talent.

Excellent Customer Service

• Conducts regular follow-up with recruiting managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

Skills, Experience & Education

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of recruitment experience across diverse roles and organizational levels.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES

  • Psychometric and competency assessment tools and processes knowledge.
  • Technical process expertise.
  • Competency Based interviewing skills.
  • Ability to leverages sourcing technology i.e. e-recruitment, job boards, LinkedIn.
  • A high level of computer literacy (MS Office and Outlook).
  • Influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to coach and network.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful problem solving skills.
  • Strong and well developed communication skills (verbal, written and listening).
  • Is results driven and has the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Shows excellent levels of professionalism.
