Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Secondary Deputy Principal to lead Pharo School in Assosa, Ethiopia. This is a unique opportunity for a strong educational leader to make a deep and lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership to ensure high standards in academic achievement, student well-being, and staff development
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including curriculum delivery, budgeting, staffing, and school policies
Build and sustain a positive, inclusive, and high-performing school culture
Lead performance evaluations and professional development for staff
Ensure compliance with national standards and Pharo Foundation’s education policies
Foster strong engagement with parents, the community, and external stakeholders

About You

Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field
Minimum 6+ years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
Proven success in leading and managing school teams and improving educational outcomes
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English
Proficient in using educational and administrative digital tools
