Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Organization: Vétérinaires Sans Frontières (VSF) Suisse
Deadline: April 30, 2026
VSF-Suisse and VSF-Germany are looking for a Regional Communications Officer to capture the realities of livestock-based livelihoods in the Horn of Africa and transform field experiences into compelling visual stories for global audiences, partners and donors.
Based in Addis Ababa and working across the region, the role combines field travel, documentary-style photography and video production, and in-depth interviews to capture the human stories behind VSF’s work with pastoralist and livestock-keeping communities.
Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Suisse (VSF-Suisse) and Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Germany
(VSF-Germany) are international NGOs working to improve food security, resilience and livelihoods for

working time to VSF-Suisse and 50% to VSF-Germany.
The Regional Communications Officer connects field realities with international communication and
engagement. By regularly visiting project locations, the officer documents programmes through interviews,
photography and video production with community members, project staff and partners. The collected
material is transformed into compelling stories and visual content that strengthen communication, donor
engagement and the regional visibility of both organisations.
