Quality Officer (Fresh Product)

Role Overview:

The Quality Officer (fresh Product) will oversee and enforce quality standards for fresh products stored and dispatched from the warehouse. This role ensures that products meet safety, freshness, and quality benchmarks, aligning with the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Control:

• Inspect incoming fresh products for quality, quantity, and adherence to company standards.
• Monitor storage conditions, including temperature, humidity, and cleanliness, to maintain product integrity.
• Conduct regular quality checks on inventory to identify spoilage or damage.

Operational Oversight:

• Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure quality requirements are communicated and met.
• Supervise the loading and dispatch processes to confirm quality compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, quality reports, and non-compliance issues.

Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure all products comply with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and update quality control processes in line with industry best practices.
• Liaise with suppliers/Vendors/Sellera/Intrapreneurs to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.

Team Collaboration:

• Train warehouse staff on quality standards and proper handling of fresh products.
• Work closely with the operations team to minimize waste, spoilage and optimize inventory turnover.
• Provide regular feedback and suggestions for quality process improvements.
