About Us:

Center for Justice is a civil society organization dedicated to promoting access to justice, human rights, rule of law and legal reform in Ethiopia. Center for Justice (CJ) is working for systemic and service changes in the Ethiopian Criminal Justice System to create a just , humane and effective prison and penal system by influencing decision –makers, opinion formers and the public to reduce the use of prison, improve conditions of prisoners and children , promote equality and human rights in the criminal justice system.

Center for Justice is currently seeking highly motivated and qualified Law Graduates to fill the following two positions.

These roles are excellent opportunities for recent graduates to gain practical legal experience in both grassroots legal aid and institutional project management.

2: Projects Intern (2 Opening)

Duty Station: Adama (Head Office)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide logistical and administrative support to the project management team at the Head Office.
  • Assist in the drafting, editing, and formatting of project proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.
  • Participate in project monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities, including data collection and entry.
  • Help organize and coordinate project-related workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings in Adama and the field.
  • Conduct legal and policy research to support the development of project methodologies and advocacy strategies.
  • Assist in maintaining organized project files, both physical and digital.

Required Qualifications:

  • LL.B Degree in Law (Must be a recent graduate or pending graduation confirmation).
  • Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment at the Head Office.
