Position Summary

The Project Associate will provide essential administrative, logistical, and technical support to the Project Manager and the wider project team for the successful implementation of the project The Associate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring all activities are carried out smoothly.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, implementation, and coordination in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Facilitate the implementation and tracking of activities and targets outlined in the project action plan and workplan.
  • Organize and coordinate project meetings, workshops, trainings, stakeholder meetings, and other events.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action points, correspondence, and other project-related documents.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, transportation, field movements, and event logistics for project staff and participants.
  • Support project procurement processes, including preparation of ToRs, collection of quotations, bid evaluation, and related documentation.
  • Maintain organized project files, databases, contracts, official records, resources, and digital archives.
  • Support project budgeting, field advances, payment documentation, and expense settlement processes.
  • Support M&E activities through collection, compilation, and verification of project indicator and field data.
  • Assist in preparing project progress reports, donor updates, and other reporting and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate communication with partner organizations, civil society organizations, government offices, community stakeholders, and other relevant actors.
  • Support other project-related activities as needed.

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree on Medicine (Medical Doctor), Economics, Law, Social Studies or related field of study
  • 0 – 1 years working experience, ideally in project management, coordination and implementation
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Power-point or Google Suite
  • Knowledge of documentation and other administrative procedures.
