UNICEF Ethiopia is hiring experienced Photographers and Videographers for short-term and long-term consultancy projects. In this role, you will create high-quality multimedia content capturing UNICEF’s development and emergency field interventions across Ethiopia.
Your visual storytelling will be featured on international platforms, supporting advocacy, awareness-raising, and fundraising campaigns for UNICEF Headquarters, Regional Offices, and global donor networks.
Field Photography & Videography: Capture professional high-resolution photos and video footage of UNICEF interventions, community programs, and emergency responses across Ethiopia.
Content Production: Deliver compelling multimedia packages suitable for global digital platforms, social media, print publications, and broadcasting.
Advocacy & Fundraising Support: Work closely with communication teams to produce visual assets that raise awareness and mobilize resources for children in need.
Field Travel: Travel to project sites and remote regions across Ethiopia as required.
Education: Diploma in Photography, Videography, Visual Arts, Media Production, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in high-level photography and videography.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken Amharic and English.
Technical Skills: Advanced technical mastery of professional camera equipment, video production, lighting, and visual storytelling.
Desirables:
Prior experience working with the United Nations, NGOs, or international organizations.
Proven ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and in fast-paced environments.
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
