Project Context and Scope
The overall objective of this assignment is to provide high-level technical support to the Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration, to lead the development of a high-quality, GCF, Loss and Damage, and AF compliant concept notes on the climate change-human mobility nexus and the associated submission package, and to support the review, appraisal, and advancement toward full funding proposal development.
The Senior Technical Consultant on Climate Finance for Human Mobility will contribute to the Migration, Environment and Climate Change (MECC) program under the project “Climate Change and Migration Data Programme” (Project Code: NC0161). In this role, the consultant will support the Ministry of Finance by mobilizing climate finance for interventions addressing climate-induced human mobility. This will be achieved through targeted capacity building and the development of bankable project concept notes.
Objective of the Assignment

Under the overall guidance of IOM and in close coordination with the Ministry of Finance, the Senior Technical Expert shall undertake the following key tasks and responsibilities:
