Job Description

The role of the shift leader is managing daily operations and production flow.

  • Planning the worker’s shift rotation
  • Workers’ performance and improvement plan
  • Daily reporting
  • Reporting technical concerns to the supervisor
  • Daily reporting about incidents of the last 24 hours
  • Perform the production plan for the coming 24 hours.
  • Make sure the job is handed over properly to the next shift

About You

  • BSc Degree Dairy technology, food science or related fields

02. Milk Collection Quality Lead/Dairy Development Quality Lead

  • Location: Bishoftu   |    Deadline: August 30, 2026

Job Description

The Milk Collection Quality Lead is responsible for ensuring that all raw milk received from milk collection centers and dairy farmers complies with company quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.

The role ensures consistent implementation of sampling, testing, cold chain compliance, and continuous improvement across all milk collection points.

The Milk collection Quality Lead serves as the link between Dairy Development and Factory team to ensure only compliant milk enters production. Drive continuous improvement of raw milk quality through monitoring, supplier development, data analysis and preventive quality initiatives.

  • Manage QC Officers working across the different Milk Collection Points (MCPs)
  • Monitor daily raw milk quality performance across all collection points.
  • Ensure proper sampling procedures are followed at all collection points.
  • Conduct regular inspections of milk MCPs to verify hygiene standards
  • Lead investigations involving quality deviations
  • Develop and deliver training to the MCP quality coordinators
  • Approve QC results in ERP (batch release workflow).
  • Verify calibration of testing equipment at MCPs
  • Provide daily and weekly QC shift reports to Quality Manager
  • Support supplier audits and qualification activities.
  • Ensure corrective actions from audits and inspections are implemented on time.
  • Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Have the responsibility to report problem(s) with regards to the FSMS to identified person(s)

About You

  • BSc Degree in Dairy Technology, Food Science, or related fields
  • More than 3 years’ experience
  • Strong knowledge of testing methods
  • Knowledge of raw milk quality standards and national dairy regulations.
  • Understanding in HACCP and GMP
  • ERP proficiency (batch release, QC entries)
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Strong decision-making under pressure
  • Willingness to travel to different MCP locations.

03. Accounting Manager

  • Location: Addis Ababa   |    Deadline: September 14, 2026

Job Description

The Accounting Manager will oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and compliance with applicable standards and internal policies. This role will manage accounts payable (creditors), accounts receivable, and other tasks signed by immediate supervisor, and will play a key role in the month-end closing process and preparation of financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries are posted on time.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and analysis as required.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies.

Accounts Payable (Creditors)

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process including invoice review, posting, and payments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of vendor accounts.
  • Monitor and manage vendor contracts, payment terms, and aging balances.
  • Review and approve payment and ensure alignment with cash flow planning
  • Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to validate GRNs and resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure 3-way matching is always maintained.
  • Ensure proper accruals for unpaid expenses and vendor liabilities at month-end.
  • Follow up and monitor goods-in-transit (GIT) purchases to ensure timely receipt and proper accounting treatment.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.

Accounts Receivable

  • Oversee customer invoicing and collections process.
  • Monitor receivables aging and follow up with sales and customers on overdue balances.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition and bad debt provisioning.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations between customer subledger and general ledger.
  • Implement and monitor credit control procedures in line with company policy.
  • Work closely with the commercial/sales team to resolve disputes, claims, or deductions.

Team Management & Internal Controls

  • Supervise, guide, and develop the accounting team.
  • Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve accounting processes.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and local tax laws.
  • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and integrity.

04. Trade Manager

The Trade Manager is responsible for building and continuously improving Holland Dairy’s commercial operating model. The role leads Route-to-Market optimization, sales capability development, commercial systems, commercial analytics to drive profitable growth across Ethiopia.

05. Mechanical Designer

Job Description

To prepare accurate mechanical engineering drawings, layouts, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, utility layouts and as-built drawings for dairy processing and utility systems. The Mechanical Designer will support engineering projects by ensuring all drawings comply with company standards, engineering codes and project specifications.

· Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD

· Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings for processing and utility equipment.

· Prepare fabrication drawings for platforms, pipe supports, brackets and structural items.

· Produce installation drawings for new equipment. · Prepare P&IDs. · Develop piping isometric drawings.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years of drafting experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in dairy, food & beverage, pharmaceutical or FMCG industries is preferred.
  • Experience preparing P&IDs, piping layouts and utility drawings.

06. Mechanical Technician

Job Description

  • The junior technician is responsible for planned and breakdown maintenance and any technical service request.
  • Follow company safety, hygiene, and quality rules.
  • Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure safety and quality.
  • Execute all planned maintenance activities and expand horizontally for new machine.
  • Execute technical service request WO.
  • Follow vehicle regular service plan and execute with auto technician.
  • Repair Breakdown maintenance and report
  • Do BD analysis for a breakdown maintenance.
  • Record utilities consumption data every day
  • Report any abnormalities.
  • Utilize and store equipment properly.
  • Assemble and install machines’ mechanical and electrical equipment.

  • Maintain site facilities and equipment.
  • Log all services and report progress to the Technician Head and Technical Manager
  • Utilize and store all equipment properly.
  • Follow up on MCP service maintenance and give remote support.

  • BA Degree in Mechanical or TVET level IV

07. Microbiologist

Job Description

The main duty of Microbiologist is to make proper sampling, preparation of reagents/media, conduct microbiological analysis, reporting of findings and routine equipment maintenance.

  • Prepare and aliquot pre-analytical reagents and media.
  • Conduct laboratory tests, analyze results, verify accuracy, and prepare test reports.
  • Participate in product development, sensory evaluation, and shelf-life testing.
  • Perform routine housekeeping and preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Conduct instrument preventive maintenance, including preparing standards, restocking chemical inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain equipment in proper condition; in case of breakdown, take initiative, coordinate, and assist the laboratory manager in ensuring timely repairs.
  • Proactively monitor, review, and communicate to ensure data compliance with process specifications.
  • Follow established procedures for cleaning and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure timely disposal of tested samples as per procedure.
  • Ensure the laboratory area is clean and well-organized.
  • Use and wear protective equipment and clothing as required and properly report all incidents.
  • Assist in identifying root causes of customer complaints.
  • Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
  • Adhere to and comply with the company’s code of conduct.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the manager.

About You

  • BSC in respected fields of Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food science and related fields
  • Have a minimum of 2 years
