For the successful implementation of UNFPA Ethiopia’s 10th Country Programme, the Country Office seeks to engage a consultant who exemplifies transformative leadership, inspires innovation, and is committed to delivering high-impact, sustainable results.
The purpose of this consultancy is to engage an Information Management Analyst who will play a critical role in supporting the generation, compilation, and analysis of relevant humanitarian-development-peace (HDP) nexus data for the country office. The consultant will contribute to strengthening evidence-based decision-making by providing timely and accurate data analysis and insights. This will inform policy formulation and programme development.
The Information Management Analyst Consultant will provide technical expertise in Data Management & Analysis, Documentation, Reporting & Quality Assurance, Programme Management, and Knowledge Management to support UNFPA’s 10th country programme. The consultant will deliver the following key services and outputs:
A. Data Systems Management & HQ Migration
B. Advanced Analytics & Performance Tracking
C. Accountability & Quality Assurance
Routine Information Management & IP Support
Coordination, Knowledge Management & Capacity Building
● Compile and analyze information relevant to UNFPA’s mandate, including the development of work plans and the preparation of reports.
●Participate in monitoring programme activities, including field visits, review meetings, and status reporting, while ensuring quality data is used to inform strategic decisions.
●Engage in interagency coordination efforts to ensure that population data and analysis are central to joint planning and reporting.
●Develop user-friendly documentation, SOPs, and guidance notes to facilitate information access and continuity.
●Support the implementation of knowledge management strategies to capture, document, and share lessons learned and best practices.
●Contribute to the development of knowledge resources aimed at building capacity in data generation, analysis, and utilization.
●Monitor and report on emerging trends and issues relevant to the humanitarian context.
The consultant will also perform other tasks as assigned by UNFPA leadership to support the effective delivery of the country programme objectives.

Please note that grade mention in the consultancy is for reference purpose keeping in view the generic requirement of the consultancy and final lumpsum renumeration will be determined upon evaluation of requirement and candidate’s profile.
