Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Marketing & Communications Officer to strengthen Bios Engineering’s brand presence and market engagement. This role will combine event management, meeting coordination, company representation, and marketing/communications support to effectively promote Bios Engineering’s services and build strong relationships within the IT sector and the East African business landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute all events, conferences, and meetings, managing logistics, marketing, and vendor coordination to maximize impact.
• Represent Bios Engineering at industry events and client meetings, delivering compelling presentations and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings, preparing materials and ensuring effective communication.
• Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies, creating marketing materials and managing digital content.
• Conduct market research to inform marketing initiatives and identify opportunities.
• Implements digital marketing activities across multiple channels
• Monitors campaign performance and makes basic optimizations.
• Assists in the development of digital marketing content. Follows procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and platform policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event management, marketing, and communications.
• Strong understanding of the IT sector and the East African business environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in English. Amharic and other regional languages are a plus.
