Business Unit Description
The Financial and Market Linkage Solutions unit is Kifiya’s commercial engine, responsible for translating its AI-enabled financial infrastructure into deployed capital and sustainable revenue. It drives partner bank growth, optimizes liquidity utilization, and scales digital lending, embedded finance, invoice finance, asset finance, and agri-finance solutions. Operating across institutional, regional, and field levels, FMLS ensures risk-aligned expansion while converting platform capabilities into measurable financial impact at scale.
The Manager, Product Planning and Rollout, Device and Asset Financing leads the end-to-end strategy, development, commercialization, and performance management of Kifiya’s device and asset financing vertical.
This role owns the full product lifecycle from strategic design and financial modeling to rollout, portfolio monitoring, and optimization, ensuring that device and asset financing solutions are commercially viable, risk-aligned, operationally scalable, and capital efficient.
The role converts Kifiya’s AI-enabled credit infrastructure into asset-backed financial products that drive MSME productivity, digital access, and ecosystem expansion while maintaining portfolio quality and sustainable returns.
Product Strategy and Market Positioning
• Translate FMLS strategy into a scalable and differentiated device and asset financing business.
• Define target segments, priority use cases, value propositions, and pricing models.
• Identify new revenue streams, product enhancements, and distribution innovations.
• Lead market research, customer insight analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
• Develop business cases and financial models to guide investment and scale decisions.
Capital Efficiency and Financial Stewardship
• Own the device and asset financing P&L, ensuring revenue growth and margin sustainability.
• Align portfolio growth with liquidity availability and capital deployment strategy.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization in collaboration with Finance.
• Ensure capital-efficient scale and disciplined return on infrastructure investment.
Product Development and Rollout Governance
• Define product roadmaps and phased rollout strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Risk, Technology, Operations, and Field teams to ensure timely execution.
• Establish rollout governance frameworks, SOPs, and service-level standards.
• Ensure seamless integration with Kifiya’s AI decisioning and credit scoring infrastructure.
Credit and Risk Oversight
• Design asset financing structures aligned with risk-tiered lending models.
• Monitor portfolio performance including PAR, NPL trends, repayment behavior, and churn.
• Oversee collections frameworks, fraud mitigation controls, and underwriting guidelines.
• Collaborate with Risk and Analytics teams to continuously refine credit models and predictive performance tools.
Customer Lifecycle and Experience Management
• Ensure seamless onboarding, device delivery, repayment tracking, support, and upgrade journeys.
• Design engagement models that improve repayment reliability and reduce churn.
• Integrate digital servicing channels with field escalation processes.
• Maintain strong service-level performance across the entire customer lifecycle.
Ecosystem and Distribution Expansion
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with device suppliers, distributors, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners.
• Design scalable distribution models leveraging partner banks, agent networks, and embedded finance channels.
• Support negotiations with suppliers and capital providers to strengthen ecosystem sustainability.
• Identify new partnership models to expand geographic and segment reach.
Operational and Portfolio Management
• Supervise operational execution including fulfillment, logistics coordination, and after-sales support where applicable.
• Implement standardized operational processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Track and manage portfolio performance dashboards and reporting mechanisms.
Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
• Track KPIs including revenue growth, portfolio-at-risk, churn, cost-to-acquire, and customer lifetime value.
• Use data insights to optimize pricing, risk segmentation, and channel effectiveness.
• Continuously identify operational inefficiencies and product optimization opportunities.
• Monitor market and technology trends to maintain product competitiveness and innovation leadership.

• Build and lead a high-performing, entrepreneurial product team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and continuous learning.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in fintech, consumer finance, BNPL, asset finance, or digital lending.
• Demonstrated P&L management experience.
• Proven experience scaling asset-backed or credit-based financial products.
• Strong exposure to credit risk analytics, underwriting, and portfolio management.
• Experience operating within multi-partner or ecosystem-driven financial models preferred.
