Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Librarian to manage the school library, ensuring students and teachers have access to high-quality learning resources. The Librarian will organize and maintain books and digital materials, support students in developing reading habits. This role plays a key part in promoting literacy, curiosity, and a love for reading, while contributing to the school’s mission of academic excellence and inclusive learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily library operations: book lending, cataloging, and inventory
Support students and teachers in accessing research and reading materials
Promote literacy through reading programs and library activities
Maintain digital and physical library systems

About You

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Library Science and Information Science or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a school or public library
Proficiency in English
Strong organizational and computer literacy skills
