Ethiopian Heart association was established by patients with heart and related problems, professionals working on heart diseases and others who support the association to accomplish its mission. Our Vision is to be the strongest association of patient and cardiac professionals in East Africa. Our mission is to improve cardiovascular patient care in Ethiopia by creating networks of patients and professionals, promoting patients’ right to get optimal cardiovascular services, and raising awareness on cardiovascular disease prevention and adherence to treatment. We also aim to raise funds and attract donors for patients who cannot afford expensive treatments, collaborate with other stakeholders to improve CVD care in Ethiopia, and contribute to professional skill development in Ethiopia.

01. Office Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven manager to lead strategic initiatives, drive resource mobilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with EHA’s mission and goals.
- Develop and write compelling proposals and grant applications to secure funding from
- local and international donors.
- Identify and pursue fundraising opportunities, partnerships, and sponsorships.
- Coordinate and oversee program planning, implementation, and reporting.
- Support the Association’s advocacy, public relations, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
About You
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine with at least one year service related to this position.
Desired Capacities and Experiences
- Proven experience in proposal writing, grant management, and fundraising.
- Prior work experience in a health-related organization is highly desirable.

02. Senior Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews, identifying potential drug interactions and adverse effects.
- Provide medication counseling to patients on proper usage, dosage, and side effects.
- Monitor medication adherence and implement interventions to improve compliance.
- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews, identifying potential drug interactions and adverse effects.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication regimens for patients with chronic conditions.

About You
Qualifications:
- BSC degree in pharmacy
- A minimum of five or more years of proven experience as a pharmacist.
- Valid license to practice as a pharmacist is an advantage
- Ability to manage drugs stocks at all pharmacies effectively to avoid dead stocks or expired drugs.
- Demonstrable experience in commodity management and supply chain.
- In depth knowledge of the MOH supply chain processes and procedure.
- Experience in community pharmacy is an asset

- Processes bank transfer and exchange of checks.
- Prepares daily bank accounts and cash balances.
- Performs any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Checks the quantity, specifications and appropriateness of incoming items before receiving;
- Prepares periodic reports
