Ethio Impact Consulting Plc is looking for a Grant and Partnership Advisor on behalf of an NGO, which is an international animal welfare organisation, offering care and protection to donkeys worldwide.

As Grants and Partnership Advisor, you will provide comprehensive programme and grant management support for Addis Ababa University-College of Veterinary Medicine & Agriculture programmes, focusing on compliance, monitoring, and relationship management, giving mentorship, coaching and guidance to AAU-CVMA throughout the sub-grant lifecycle. Within your remit, you will oversee Programme operations and manage grants, encompassing projects such as Community Services, Donkey Welfare, and Veterinary Education.

  • Overseeing and providing support to CVMA project, ensuring the data gathered and assessments reported during the inception period, is used to fine tune and develop a relevant and realistic project plan.

  • Facilitating approval of amendments based on the findings of data collection, assessments and any changes that have an immediate effect upon the project.
  • Providing compliance and operational support guidance for the CVMA project staff regarding government statutory and the company requirements, project plans and standards.

About You

REQUIREMENT

  • A minimum of 8 years of project management experience, of which at least 2, managing projects implemented by partners.
  • A minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a partnership-oriented (I)NGO.
  • Experience in budget development, monitoring and reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing internal and external relationships and partnerships, particularly with implementing partners and project stakeholders.
  • Proven experience of increasing responsibility in overall project management, complex budgeting, operations, and financial management in an INGO setting.

The Procurement Officer is responsible for overseeing the end to end procurement process to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost effective acquisition of goods and services required for production and daily operations.The role involves leading a procurement team, developing strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and regularly review procurement policies, procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Lead the procurement team in formulating and executing strategic sourcing plans, including supplier identification, vetting, bid solicitation, proposal evaluation, contract negotiation and approval coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent on time delivery of high quality goods and services.
  • Manage procurement expenditures within approved budgets while proactively identifying opportunities for cost savings and value optimization across the supply chain.
  • Oversee import related processes, including Letter of Credit management, purchase order approvals and goods handover.
