Bees for Development Ethiopia (BfDE) is an Ethiopian resident charity organization that has worked for about 11 years in Amhara and South-West Regions of Ethiopia. Its mission is promoting beekeeper friendly beekeeping practices in Ethiopia that is well integrated with the environment thereby contributing to sustainable rural livelihoods. BfDE’s major program components are beekeeping and natural resources management. We strive to make beekeeping accessible for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged Ethiopians.
