Invitation to Bid, I-lead Project: Assistive Devices/aids and Office Shelves

INTRODUCTION

The Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD) is a non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit organization committed to promoting the rights and opportunities of persons with disabilities through policy advocacy and the mainstreaming of disability inclusion in service delivery, development programs, and humanitarian actions. Established in 2005 and re-registered by the Agency for Civil Society Organizations, ECDD works toward an inclusive Ethiopia where persons with disabilities exercise their human rights and access mainstream services on an equal basis.

As part of ECDD’s commitment on empowering persons with disabilities through inclusive initiatives, it is currently implementing a three-year (2022-2025) inclusive livelihood project, titled “I-LEAD: Promoting Job Employment through Accessible Education and Digitalization” funded by AICS through Christian Blind Mission (CBM). The project aimed to achieve an” equitable and inclusive “governance, strengthening equity in access to Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET), labor market opportunities and social inclusion of persons with disabilities, in Addis Ababa, Oromia and South Ethiopia.

Under the I-lead project, ECDD invites eligible, qualified, and reputable suppliers to submit sealed bids for the supply and delivery of the following Materials to support the implementation of I-Lead project activities.

About the Supply

Bidders are invited to supply the following assistive and disability-inclusive materials to be used by the project to achieve the intended result

Note: Quantities may vary subject to minor adjustments depending on budget utilization and field needs.

Eligibility and Bid Requirements

Eligible vendors must submit valid and complete documentation, including:

• Company profile demonstrating relevant experience
• Renewed business/trade license valid for the current fiscal year
• Valid TIN and VAT registration certificates
• All prices in Ethiopian Birr (ETB)
• Prices inclusive of VAT, delivery/transport, handling, and all related costs
• Quotation must follow the official Price Schedule Template

General Conditions

• All items supplied must be new, original, and of high quality
• Refurbished or used items will not be accepted
• For assembled items, the country of origin must be clearly stated
• Suppliers must quote one option per item only (no multiple brands per line item)
• Indicate the number of days the prices will be valid after the date of the submission
• ECDD reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, partially or fully
• Bids must be submitted within thirty ( 30) calendar days from the date of announcement at the ECDD Head Office.4.
