General Overview of Position

As an ICT Instructor at LionHeart Academy, you will deliver engaging lessons on digital literacy, programming, and technology integration. Your role will inspire students to explore the possibilities of technology and equip them with critical digital skills needed for the 21st century. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Planning:
2. • Develop lesson plans that cover key ICT topics, including coding, digital literacy, and problem-solving.
   • Incorporate real-world applications to make learning meaningful.
3. Instructional Delivery:
4. • Teach foundational and advanced ICT skills using interactive and hands-on methods.
   • Utilize project-based learning to engage students in technology exploration.
5. Student Development:
6. • Monitor and support individual student progress in ICT skills.
   • Provide remedial support for students needing additional help.
7. Technology Integration:
8. • Utilize digital tools and platforms to enhance classroom learning.
9. Collaboration and Communication:
10. • Work with faculty to create interdisciplinary projects that integrate technology.
    • Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress.

• Contract Type: Full-time.
• Location: LionHeart Academy, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or equivalent credentials.
• Proficiency in coding, digital literacy, and technology integration.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
