About the Assignment

Development for All (DFA) invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of ICT and Designing Expert Consultant under the project titled “Youth-Led Dialogue for Sustainable Peace and Social Cohesion in the Benishangul-Gumuz Region,” implemented with the support of the GIZ-CPS’s Infrastructure for Dialogue (I4D) Programme.

The Consultant shall:

  • Design and produce high-quality training, branding, visibility, and communication materials, including posters, banners, brochures, and social media content, in line with DFA’s quality standards.
  • Manage and regularly update online engagement platforms and digital communication channels used by youth dialogue groups and project stakeholders.
  • Support the documentation of project activities, lessons learned, and change stories through photographs, graphic designs, videos, and other multimedia products.
  • Support DFA’s collaboration with local media in disseminating messages that promote dialogue, peacebuilding, social cohesion, and project visibility.
  • Provide technical assistance during the procurement of ICT materials to be handed over to youth associations.
  • Prepare and submit timely work plans and periodic reports on activities performed, outputs achieved, challenges encountered, and recommendations.
  • Ensure that all assignments and deliverables are completed professionally, ethically, and within the agreed timelines, in accordance with the objectives and terms of the project agreement.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the Executive Director of the organization, as needed.

Duration of the Consultancy

The consultancy engagement will last for four (4) months and is expected to commence in early June 2026.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in digital engagement, social media management, graphic design, or multimedia production.
  • Experience working with NGOs, civil society organizations, or community-based organizations is an added advantage.
  • Strong skills in graphic design, branding, development of training and communication materials, and video editing.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of digital safety, online engagement, and the responsible use of digital communication platforms.
