Job Description

Vasta Consult PLC, a strategic talent solutions provider and subsidiary of Frontieri Consult PLC, was founded in July 2023 to address persistent market gaps that have hindered corporate growth in Ethiopia. We are seeking a versatile professional to join our team in a hybrid role that combines strategic HR consulting, project delivery, and business development. This position will strengthen our HR consulting capabilities while actively supporting opportunity sourcing, proposal development, and client engagement. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of relevant experience and demonstrates a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Opportunity Sourcing (25%)
  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities in HR consulting, organizational strategy, organizational development and recruitment.
  • Coordinate with senior staff to evaluate opportunities, support bid/no-bid decisions, and prioritize proposals.
  • Represent the company at professional networks and industry events to expand client relationships.
  • Maintain CRM records and ensure smooth internal coordination for opportunity follow-ups.
  • Conduct market research, track sector developments, and prepare client profiles and market summaries

2. Proposal Development & Technical Writing (30%)

  • Lead or support the preparation of technical and financial proposals for consulting projects.
  • Gather inputs from internal teams and external experts, draft proposal sections, and assemble compliant submission packages.
  • Develop pricing models, fee structures, and cost-benefit analyses for client proposals.
  • Maintain a repository of proposals, case studies, and capability statements for future use.

3.HR Consulting & Project Delivery (25%)

  • Lead HR consulting engagements from inception to completion, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance on talent management, organizational development, HR policies, and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Act as the primary client contact for project implementation, managing expectations and resolving high-level issues.
  • Develop project plans, manage resources, and conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned.
  • Ensure alignment of project deliverables with client goals and company standards.

4. Marketing & Client Engagement Support (20%)

  • Prepare presentations, pitch materials, and capability documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of partnership agreements, MoUs, and consultant contracts.
  • Support outreach activities through email, LinkedIn, and partner channels.
  • Coordinate internal communications to ensure consistent messaging across clients and partners

About You

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in HR consulting, business development, or professional services; experience in proposal development is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical, writing, and project management skills; ability to create proposals, pricing models, and HR frameworks.
  • Core Competencies: Excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities; strong judgment and teamwork orientation.
