| CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) orintensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff. |
| ROLE PURPOSE: The position holder should provide technical assistance for the quality implementation of the health and nutrition program including CMAM implementation, overall implementation of the emergency nutrition and health response activities at woreda, health facilities and at large communities. Facilitates and encourages active participation of and networking between individuals and communities in recognizing public health problems, identifying solutions, and implementing project activities related to the identified solutions. Establishes and maintains close working relationship with IDPs in her/his working area in order to ensure that the messages are disseminated and understood at all levels. In addition the position holder is also expected to provide Medical supervision and clinical care for patients in and its complications and also expected to provide a consistent and high quality technical support in relation to establishing and strengthening Stabilizing Centre and OTP/TSF sites, primary health care services (Maternal and child health)and provide training to HEWs and HN workers in the management of severe malnutrition and MHN topics. |
