The AU Advocacy and External Engagement Graduate Intern will undertake administrative tasks, research, planning, note-taking, and policy analysis, supporting the objectives outlined in the MoU between World Vision and the African Union (AU), and aligned with the AU Liaison Office Partnership Strategy.
The intern’s role encompasses contributing to four key Advocacy and External Engagement Outcomes, including ensuring no child is left behind through the 2030 Agenda and SDGs, supporting campaigns to end child hunger, malnutrition, and violence against children, prioritizing children’s rights in humanitarian responses, and aligning with relevant AU frameworks. Moreover, the intern will engage in a structured learning component, participating in training, workshops, and mentorship programs to enhance their advocacy and external engagement skills while contributing to the organization’s mission and their own professional development.
This internship is a 12 months’ talent incubation programme aiming to give young Christian graduates real work experience, personal, spiritual and professional development through on- job mentorship and coaching.
