ERP Reporting & Analytics Specialist

Summary

The ERP Reporting & Analytics Specialist is responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining business reports and dashboards across the ERP system and Power BI (or other AI-driven reporting tools). The role ensures management has timely, accurate, and actionable insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting Development
  • Design and configure business reports and dashboards in Power BI, Dynamics 365 ERP, or AI-based reporting platforms.
  • Translate top management requirements into automated reports and visualizations.
  • Ensure reports align with both profit-making and non-profit program accounting needs (multi-entity reporting).
• ERP Integration
  • Connect ERP data models with Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Develop data pipelines, queries, and DAX/Power Query formulas for accurate reporting.
  • Work with ERP functional analysts to ensure data dimensions and hierarchies support reporting.
• Analytics & Insights
  • Conduct variance, ratio, and trend analyses for finance and operations.
  • Build predictive or AI-enhanced models for forecasting and decision support.
  • Provide actionable insights to top management on revenue, cost, performance KPIs, and project dashboards.
• Governance & Quality
  • Maintain a reporting catalogue with version control and role-based access.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with IFRS/non-profit reporting requirements.
  • Train ERP users and management teams on how to navigate dashboards and self-service reports.
• Collaboration
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, HR, and Program teams to understand evolving reporting needs.
  • Support ERP migrations and company structure changes by adapting reporting models.
  • Liaise with external ERP vendors (Fanisitech) when custom configurations are required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in IT, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience with Power BI, Dynamics 365 ERP reporting, SQL/DAX/Power Query.
• Familiarity with AI reporting tools and data visualization best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to convert management needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge ERP support and executive management.

Reports to : ERP Manager (with dotted-line accountability to CFO/COO for management reporting).
