Tamra for Social Development Organization (TSD) is an indigenous civil society organization that has been implementing community development programs for over 27 years across Oromia, Addis Ababa, Sidama, Central Ethiopia, and South Ethiopia regions. The organization is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the following positions:

Position: Diver

• Job Grade: G2-S1
• Location: Addis Ababa (Head Office)
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Reports To: Admin and HR Manager
• Salary: Negotiable
• Number Required: 1

Role Summary:

The Driver responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for the organization. This role involves driving staff and visitors to various locations, maintain the organizations vehicles, and ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport staff, visitors, and goods to and from designated locations as required.
• Adhere to transportation, schedules, ensuring timely pick-ups and drop offs.
• Provide transportation support for organizational events, workshops and meetings.
• Conduct regular checks on the organizations vehicles to ensure they are in good working conditions.
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
• Ensure that all vehicle documents, such as insurance, registration and inspection certificate are up to date and stored properly.
• Deliver documents, packages and other items to specified locations as required

Qualifications and Experience:

• 12th or 10th grade Complete with Certified document.
• Level 3 Driving License
• Experience; Above 3 year experience
• Work Place; Head Office & Dire Dawa District Office
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• Fluency language in English and Amharic and Afaan Oromo are required.
• Experience in NGO is an advantage.
