DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and analytical DevOps Engineer to join our software team with a focus on infrastructure and cost optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing dedicated cloud instances for each client, analyzing hosting costs to inform product pricing strategies, and exploring options for reliable local cloud hosting solutions, including evaluating the feasibility of setting up internal or co-located cloud infrastructure.

This role requires a strong grasp of cloud architecture, cost modeling, and infrastructure scalability, along with an understanding of compliance and data sovereignty regulations relevant to local hosting.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Infrastructure, or related field
2. 3+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure management
3. Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and preferably local providers)
4. Experience in cost monitoring, billing analysis, and forecasting for cloud services
5. Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and virtualization
6. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
7. Knowledge of local hosting regulations and data residency requirements
8. Strong documentation and communication skills for reporting and pricing support
9. Experience with setting up or evaluating private cloud or co-location setups is a plus
