The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) seeks to recruit a consultant for the CGIAR GENDER Equality and Inclusion Accelerator to review the existing portfolio of impact assessment studies across the CGIAR, on one or two topics (e.g., climate adaptation, social norms, or digital inclusion). Using the GENDER Accelerator resource hub, CGSpace, and other relevant sources, the consultant will identify methodological strengths, research gaps, and evidence needs. Based on these findings, the consultant will contribute to a report describing the impact of CGIAR gender research.
ILRI works to improve food security and nutrition and reduce poverty in developing countries through research for efficient, safe, and sustainable use of livestock. It is the only one of 11 CGIAR research centers dedicated entirely to animal agriculture research for the developing world. Co-hosted by Kenya and Ethiopia, ILRI has regional or country offices and projects in East, South and Southeast Asia as well as Central, East, Southern and West Africa. www.ilri.org
The GENDER Accelerator (https://gender.cgiar.org) guides and strengthens CGIAR research, ensuring its meaningful and lasting contributions to global targets for gender equality, opportunities for youth and social inclusion.
The consultant will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

Contract dates: 65 working days (1 April 2026 – September 2026)
