Development for All (DFA), established in 2016, is an independent Civil Society Organization (CSO) committed to building an inclusive and sustainable Ethiopia where everyone lives in dignity. DFA advances minority rights and fosters equitable, sustainable development by empowering marginalized communities and ensuring their voices are heard.
DFA’s integrated programmes focus on minority rights advocacy, peacebuilding, youth and women empowerment, access to education and healthcare, and sustainable socio-economic development. Since its inception, DFA has positively impacted the lives of many people by expanding access to essential services, providing humanitarian assistance, and supporting livelihoods and community resilience. Guided by values of equity, human dignity, sustainability, empowerment, and transparency, DFA implements conflict-sensitive, inclusive interventions that promote social justice, gender equality, and long-term peace.
DFA is implementing a project titled “Youth-Led Dialogue for Sustainable Peace and Social Cohesion in the Benishangul-Gumuz Region.” The project seeks to reduce tensions, strengthen social cohesion, and promote long-term stability in the region. The project’s expected outcome is enhanced capacity of youth-led organizations and civic actors to facilitate inclusive and sustainable dialogues with communities and local authorities, fostering trust, reducing ethnic or social tensions, and enhancing local accountability across the region. One of the key activities under this project is the delivery of a three-day capacity-building, Training of Trainers (ToT) on conflict-sensitive communication and inclusive dialogue facilitation skills for youth leaders, civic actors, and relevant government representatives, including women and marginalized groups.
The overall objective of the consultancy is to develop a practical and contextually tailored ToT manual on conflict-sensitive communication and inclusive dialogue facilitation, and to deliver the training for selected participants based on the developed material.
DFA is seeking to hire an experienced individual consultant to undertake the following key tasks:
Duration of the Engagement
This consultancy assignment is expected to take approximately 30 days, with a tentative commencement date of June 22, 2026. The training will be delivered in Assosa, BGR.
