GENERAL MISSION
The AVR-Livelihood Integration Specialist supports the operational and strategic integration of Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA), Armed Violence Reduction (AVR), and livelihoods/economic recovery programming across HI’s operations in Ethiopia. The role ensures that HMA activities contribute effectively to broader food security, resilience, and socioeconomic empowerment goals, particularly for vulnerable and conflict-affected populations, including EO victims, persons with disabilities, displaced populations, and women-headed households.
The position also provides technical and strategic support to the Chief of Operations (CoO) and the senior management team for the design of intersectoral projects, the development of integrated proposals, and the establishment of external partnerships linking risk reduction with inclusive recovery and sustainable development efforts.

Mission 8: Innovation and AI/Data Applications in Program Design
Mission 9: Safeguarding & Do No Harm in Integrated Programming
