Job Description
Job Summary
The Admin and Finance Assistant is responsible for providing administrative, financial, and logistical support to ensure effective and efficient operations of the organization/project. The position ensures proper financial documentation, compliance with policies and procedures, and smooth administrative services to staff, partners, and Donors
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
- Assist in preparing monthly bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
- Collect, review, and verify invoices, expense reports, and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Support in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with donor, government, and organizational financial regulations.
- Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, and trainings (booking venues, refreshments, materials, etc.).
- Maintain proper records of office assets, inventories, and supplies.
- Assist in procurement processes by collecting quotations and preparing purchase requests
- Perform other relevant tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor or the management of the organization

About You
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in administration and finance (preferably in NGO/CSO).
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, or others) is an advantage.
