Job Description
ChildFund Ethiopia is an international child focused NGO working to improve the wellbeing of deprived, excluded and vulnerable children and families. We achieve positive change in communities in partnership with local organizations through our three core programs that improve education, health and livelihoods and achieve the outcomes of healthy and secure infants, educated and confident children and skilled and involved youth.
ChildFund Ethiopia has planned to conduct Endline Evaluation of “Child Participation in Safeguarding themselves from the harms of Digital Environment Project”- across six sub-cities in Addis Ababa: Yeka, Arada, Kolfe Keraniyo, Nifas Silk Lafto, Addis Ketema, and Gullele.
A complete set of the bidding document (TOR) could be collected by eligible bidders from ChildFund Ethiopia office on the address shown below starting from August 27 – September 5 , 2025; interested firms should bring their copy licence while collecting bid document from ChildFund Office.
About You
Requirements
- MSc/BSC degree with demonstrable expertise (at least 7/10 years) in Sociology, Social work, communication, social development, and other related fields.
- Each member should have extensive experience in research (7 to 10 years for team leader, 3-5 years for other members) Demonstrable experience (at least 7 years) in evaluation/research/assessment /best practice documentation of programs.
- Ability to conduct high quality research both quantitative and qualitative analysis of survey data, including facilitating staff and stakeholder participation in the analysis and interpretation of findings, meet deadlines and respond to requests and feedback provided timely and appropriately.
- Excellent track record in designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.
- Knowledge of Ethiopia’s governance and cultural context.
- Previous experience conducting similar project evaluation/assessment, best practice documentation, communication, at least one of them being direct related to current project will be considered as an asset. (Provision of sample work is required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills in English.
- All applicants should include a statement as to their level of expertise, if any, in using this methodology so that ChildFund can ensure that proper resources and support are provided as needed.
- The firm should clearly state the price in ETB including 15% VAT and other related cost. The company should provide TIN certificate, VAT registration certificate/TOT, business registrations certificates and Business License that have all been renewed and valid license for the current fiscal year and other evidence which demonstrate the organization is approved to operate such a business.

How to Apply
Interested bidders should submit their sealed Technical and Financial proposals in two separate envelopes duly marking the envelopes as “Technical” and “Financial” proposals. And Copy of financial proposal must be submitted separately duly marking “copy financial proposal”.

Qualified consultants will be considered based on their responsiveness to the requirements listed above, technical, and financial evaluation results. Finally, the winner will be notified through the firm address.
