• Policy research on healthcare, nutrition, and education systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research analysis, coordinate data collection, and consult clients
• Write high-quality research reports and field implementation reports
• Develop winning research and consultancy proposals
• Design appropriate research methodologies and tools
• Oversee project implementation with a focus on quality, budget, and timelines
• Represent Frontieri in meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagements
• Ensure confidentiality and adherence to organizational policies

 Minimum Requirements

 Education:

• Senior Research Officer: Master’s or PhD in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Development Studies, Sociology, Public Health, Education, Business, or related fields.
• Research Officer: Master’s degree in relevant fields.
• Research Associate: Master’s degree in relevant fields.

 Experience:

• Senior Research Officer: 8+ years of experience in research, consultancy, or policy analysis.
• Research Officer: 5+ years of experience in research, consultancy, or policy analysis.
• Research Associate: 4+ years of experience in research, consultancy, or policy analysis.

 Technical Expertise & Skills:

✅ Proven experience in conducting research, data analysis, and writing research reports.
✅ Strong background in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
✅ Experience in developing research proposals and winning consultancy projects.
✅ Familiarity with statistical software (SPSS, STATA, R, Python) and data collection tools (KOBO, ODK, CSPro).
✅ Ability to design surveys, conduct interviews, and manage field data collection.
✅ Experience working with international and national research and consultancy institutes.
✅ Knowledge of monitoring & evaluation (M&E) frameworks.

 Soft Skills:

✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and in teams.
✔ Strong organizational and project management skills.
✔ Ability to engage with stakeholders, policymakers, and donors.

 Preferred Qualifications:

•  Experience in research related to Agriculture & Rural Development, Market & Private Sector Development, Social Protection & Development, and Health, Nutrition & Education.
• Experience in policy advisory roles and working with international donors, NGOs, and research institutions.
• Track record of published research papers or contributions to research projects.
  Previous experience in consultancy firms, think tanks, or academic institutions.
