01. Electronics Level-A Trainers (4 Positions)

Job Description

  • Trainers Required: Four (4)
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on college level training.
  • Develop / Revise / Participate in curriculum revision.
  • Develop / Revise / Participate in TTLM preparation.
  • Develop action plan based on the curriculum.
  • Supervise and conduct assessment procedures in accordance with official TVET strategy.
  • Initiate measures to improve the training standard.
  • Maintain electrical electronics department equipment.
  • Participate in project and research works.

Qualifications:

  • MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology, or a related field discipline with 3 years of teaching experience.
  • Certificate of Teaching Methodology.
  • Certificate of COC achievement.
  • Technical and Professional Certificate will be treated as an asset.

Skill and Competencies:

  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of printer (color and black and white).
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting procedure on analogue and digital photocopy machine.
  • Design electronic system and device using printed circuit board (Proteus and Multisim software).
  • Read and comprehend complex manuals and diagrams.
  • Refrigerator and air conditioner.
  • Microprocessor and microcontroller.
  • Electronic Security system.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in HD/UHD smart television receivers.
  • Good communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Task and time management skills.

  • Hardware & Peripherals: Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair faults in desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  • Networking: Ability to design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot both physical and logical topologies of computer networks (including structured cabling, data center components, routers, firewalls, Layer-3/Access switches, and wireless access points).
  • Server & Data Center Management: Ability to design, configure, install, and deploy various server roles (Active Directory, File, Web, Mail, Application, Print, Security, Terminal, and Media servers) and maintain data center infrastructure.
  • Databases: Ability to design and deploy databases using MS Access and MS SQL Server.
  • Methodologies: Hands-on knowledge and practical application of KAIZEN and MUDA (Lean) principles.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: MSc Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in higher education institutions (preferably with the majority of experience within the TVET framework).
  • Mandatory Certifications:
    • Valid Level V Holistic Certificate of Competency (COC) in HNS.
    • Certificate of Teaching Methodology.
  • Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of the TVET framework, curriculum design, and building industry partnerships.
  • Primary Evaluation Tool: Portfolio of work and strategic institutional plans.
  • Preferred Technical Certifications:
    • Cisco: CCNA, CCNP, or IT Essentials
