Job Description
Mission and objectives
Created by the UN General Assembly in 1970 and administered by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) Programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. We work with partners to integrate qualified, highly motivated and well supported UN Volunteers into development programming and promote the value and global recognition of volunteerism.
Context
Ethiopia is undergoing extensive public sector reforms aimed at improving governance, service delivery, digital transformation, and accountability. Despite these efforts, many government institutions continue to face capacity gaps related to technical skills, leadership, systems thinking, policy implementation, and change management.
