Internship: Service Desk Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

The intern will assist and provide the following:

• Receive, log, and track user support requests via ticketing systems, email, phone, or in person.

• Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and standard software applications.

• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.

• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and resolutions.

• Support user account management tasks (password resets, access permissions, etc.).

• Assist in IT inventory management and documentation.

• Assist in the migration to Intune from Active Directory

• Assist in information security on user level devices.

Qualifications/special skills

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
